What's wrong with us!?! Workshops

Saturday 19th July, 12-3pm
Scroll of Honour workshop, led by Rachel Barbaresi
Join a sewing workshop to help continue the development of the Scroll of Honour — a central piece created by Unlock the Chains Collective to recognise individuals of African diaspora who have contributed to the city of Oxford. Names have been added by participants and audiences during past performances, and Oxford Brookes students have printed them onto fabric. In this workshop, you'll be invited to stitch these names onto the scroll, contributing to this evolving tribute.
Ankara Bow Headdress Workshop, led by Amy Harris
In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, participants will use vibrant Ankara fabric to make beautiful bow headdresses. Part of the Skills on Wheels project, the session celebrates shared creativity and cultural exchange, showing how small crafts can bring joy and connection across communities.
