The need for a new solidarity

Come along for an evening of collective reading, discussions and exchange.
The 21st century has seen the dawning of popular rebellions and uprisings across all continents. As inequalities soar, and fascists and imperialists cling to power, popular resistance forces have congregated and fought back in spectacular ways.
Yet it seems international solidarity has failed to reinvent itself to meet the challenges of new alliances between autocrats and fascists. Can the political frameworks of the 20th century suffice, or is it time for us to define a new solidarity that centres the very people behind liberation struggles: a solidarity fit for our time and our challenges.
Join us for an evening of live reading and discussions where we will think about the blind spots of our solidarity. Bridging our struggles across Palestine, Sudan, Syria, Iran and beyond.
