The Studios at 14a Park End Street is Fusion Arts’ new creative hub in central Oxford: a space that’s being shaped with, not just for, the city’s creative community. We’re developing an environment where artists, makers, and creative organisations can share space, ideas, and resources. The studios, co-working areas, and social spaces will evolve through collaboration, guided by the needs and ambitions of those who use them.
At the heart of this is a simple intention: to make spaces like these more available and inclusive. We believe that affordable, collaborative places to create and share are essential to a thriving cultural life and The Studios is one step toward building that future together.
We currently are offering
15 studios of varying sizes, with two studios being renovated (studio 5 & 15)
1 co-working space – a bright open-plan area for freelancers, cultural workers, and project teams.
2 social spaces – informal areas for connecting, relaxing or hosting workshops and gatherings.
Small meeting room – accessible to all studios. For taking calls or meeting clients
Clean up ‘messy’ kitchen - separate to the shared kitchen
Shared kitchen – accessible from the main social area.
We have shared further details for the individual studios within the Expression of Interest Form (that includes their size and an image of the studio itself).
Each of our studios has an estimated monthly cost, but we’re always open to a conversation to make sure it works for you. We understand that everyone’s situation is different, so we’re happy to discuss options and see if there’s any room for subsidy or support where possible.
Studio costs usually start from around £140 per month (excluding service charges and depending on the size of the studio). Our aim is for the rates to be designed to help activate spaces and strengthen the arts and cultural community.
You’ll also find a list of Frequently Asked Questions about the studio spaces at the end of this page, which we hope will be helpful.
If you’re interested in being part of The Studios, please complete the short Expression of Interest (EOI) form. This helps us understand your needs, the type of work you do, and how we support and/or work together.
Access the Expression of Interest form by clicking here. Expressions of interest are open on a rolling basis, with the first review taking place in mid-December. If you’re hoping to secure a studio soon, we encourage you to submit your expression of interest as early as possible. We recognise this process as a learning journey for us too.
