Writers Wheel workshop led by Isabelle Baafi

Explore the theme of transformation in all its forms, celebrating change as an integral part of the human experience. We’ll examine poems by Donika Kelly, Aimé Césaire, Nick Makoha, and Shivanee Ramlochan, discussing and responding to themes of liberation, self-discovery, grief, and hope.

In this workshop, you’ll craft your own poems, reflect on personal growth, and find a vocabulary for changes you encounter. This event is part of the new Fusion Arts Oxford Writers Wheel workshops for young writers in Oxford.

This event is for young writers aged 16-19 from all backgrounds, with a special welcome to those from under-represented communities.

Limited spots available! Only 15 places on a first-come, first-served basis.

Weds 26th June. 5-7pm
Fusion Arts, 95 Gloucester Green, Oxford
