Ryan Hawaii

FRONTLINE acts as an early career retrospective to explore the various series of works Ryan Hawaii has produced over the last ten years. His art is made up of a myriad of explorations in textiles, music, fashion, sketchbooks and paint. We bring these signs of life together as evidence of his ever evolving creativity.

This exhibition is Ruby A Duncan’s second time curating at Fusion Arts, working with a commitment to creating relationships between audiences and artworks. The two link up with spatial designer Stanley Leung to deliver the latest celebration of Hawaii’s pioneering works from over a decade of weaving Afro-Cuban, Jamaican, and Anglophone influences together in the studio.
