Celebrate Windrush 75! Join us for an unforgettable all-day event of Windrush Day Activities!
This year, we commemorate the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the Windrush Generation. 🚢 The Windrush generation refers to the incredible individuals who journeyed to the UK between 1948 and 1971 from Caribbean countries, mainly Jamaica, on the iconic HMT Empire Windrush. 🌍 They were invited by the British government to help rebuild the country after World War II and were granted indefinite leave to remain.
