Everyone has potential and anyone can be creative. People experiencing homelessness often lead lives that have been shaped by trauma, surrounded by stigma in an unseen part of the community. Homeless Oxfordshire provides an open door and support for people when they need it most, helping individuals to process their experiences and express their feelings. Its regular art program provides an opportunity for everyone to be creative, with the notion that everyone has the potential to create meaningful art. Homeless Oxfordshire’s Through Our Eyes exhibition at Fusion Arts at 95 Gloucester Green Oxford will feature specially commissioned artworks created by its residents that provide a unique insight into the challenges and joys of daily life as a person experiencing homelessness.
