In this workshop, we will explore how we sense, perceive and imagine through the body.
How does the body fold out into space?
How do we receive our environment?
How do we locate ourselves?
We will practice whole body listening, attending to rhythms of the heart, the body and the space. Through mapping, we will imagine the possibilities of this body’s organization and re-organization. We will spatialize relationships that are contained within, and others that extend beyond our edges to other bodies, places and memories.
Our play will incorporate scientific literature, poetry, music, nature and bodies bodies bodies.
