September Displays in the Window Galleries

September brings new and exciting artwork to the Window Galleries! The Freshwater Habitats Trust, Parasol, Storymakers and Joyful Co. Ltd.

Artistic Ecology: Fusion Arts has partnered with Freshwater Habitats Trust to display the work produced during a range of artistic events as part of their GrowWet project. It has resulted in a range of imagery inspired by the plight of rare wetland plants and their conservation today.

Monsters Galore:
The Parasol Project is an Oxford based charity committed to redressing the balance for disabled and disadvantaged children & young people experiencing social exclusion. This summer a dedicated team at Parasol and Artists from the Fusion team have been providing brilliant workshops for 5-19yr olds exploring the wonderful world of monsters, mythology and make believe.

Stories of Home:
This summer, children and staff at Wood Farm Primary School met each week and, through a range of sensory media, imaginatively explored what it is to 'feel at home'. The Story Makers brought their visions to life, creating sculpture, mosaic, drawings, paintings and writing.

Creative Craft Kits:
Fusion Arts has partnered with Joyful Co. Ltd. Sisters Clare and Alice produce eco-craft kits for children & adults. They have put together a display of ingenious creations to inspire others to take part in sustainable creative learning and craft for supporting wellbeing.

The September displays will be on display in the #WindowGalleries along Friars Entry in Oxford, OX1 2BZ from the 12th September until the 7th October, free and available to visit at any time.
