Displaced: Docus, Dinner & Discussion

Join Land Justice Ox, director Has & practitioners to watch documentaries, dine together & discuss land, race & migrant justice.

Land Justice Ox invite you to a fringe event in Fusion Arts, 95 Gloucester Green - a media screening to remind us that thousands of people are still making terrifying journeys because of the UK's hostile environment, and to share what happens to people when they arrive in the green and pleasant lands of Oxfordshire (it's not necessarily green and pleasant) and talk about what the general public can do to better support the service providers and the recent migrants in solidarity, and how this relates to land justice (access to space, a sense of place, belonging...) **These documentaries and film excerpts from director-activist Has contain trigger warnings* : -

Has is a director, performance poet and activist, sharing stories and films to start conversations in local communities about land, race and migrant justice.

70% of donations from film sales will go to support migrant charities represented in the space and/or not represented but which are most in need of support, and 30% will go to support artists and cover any costs.

Please be generous if you can afford to be, but if you cannot, we genuinely would prefer you come to join us without paying if you cannot afford to, rather than not coming at all. If you would need support with bus fare in order to be able to come, then please do email landjusticeox [@] gmail.com

Similarly if you have any access needs, please let us know and we hope we can accommodate you.

Please book your place here
