Join us for a Batik workshop as part of the Hear the Seeds Sing exhibition. Led by skilled artist Clesia from Soboman Artspace in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, participants will delve into the rich tradition of Indonesian batik techniques. From mastering the intricate wax-resist dyeing process to designing vibrant patterns, attendees will have the opportunity to create their own artwork.
There will be comfort breaks, and we'll provide snacks and water, but please bring a packed lunch!
Due to the nature of hot wax, we recommend that this workshop is for participants 12 and over. Please bring protective clothes with you.
