Story Makers Symposium: Collections of Hope

26/12/2024

A Symposium reflecting on arts-based learning within schools.

Discover the impact of Story Makers through the voices of artists, museum educators, teachers, and primary school children as they share how this initiative has shaped communication, creativity, and identity.

Since 2010, Story Makers—a partnership between Helen Edwards and Fusion Arts, funded by Children in Need—has been delivering arts-based learning to foster personal growth and expression.

Over the past three years, the program has collaborated with Rose Hill, Wood Farm, and Larkrise Primary Schools, alongside the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, the Museum of Oxford, and the Pitt Rivers Museum.

The symposium is led by Integrative Arts Psychotherapist Helen Edwards in collaboration with Fusion Arts. Open to all, especially schools, educators, artists, learning support, creatives, somatic practitioners, GLAM partners and funders. Thank you for joining us to celebrate and explore the transformative work of Story Makers!
