AHEC seed funding day

26/03/2025

AHEC steering group hosted an artists and researchers networking event as part of Arts Health and Ethics Collective(AHEC), as part of the ANTITHESES Wellcome Discovery Platform. 15 researchers from WEH (all career levels are welcome) and 15 local artists, arts group leaders and community arts representatives gathered at St Lukes Chapel in Oxford.

This event is to bring together a range of artists and arts communities, local to Oxfordshire, with researchers and students from across the ANTITHESES network (Ethox, Uehiro, NEUROSEC, History of Medicine, Centre for Trop Med and Global Health, Centre for Medical Ethics University of Singapore and Culture).

We launched the next round of Arts, Health and Ethics funding at this event in connection to ANTITHESES work and showcased some recent arts-based research projects that were funded by the 2024 round.

It was an informal event with plenty of time to make new connections in a safe and welcoming space.

Keep an eye out on Fusion Arts Social Media for updates on how to apply for AHEC seed funding 2025.
