Some of Us Are Brave

Curated by Sukai Eccleston CasildART , this powerhouse exhibition first opened last July at the J/M Gallery in Notting Hill, London and featured the work of nine artists. Some of Us Are Brave has been turned into a national touring exhibition, with this third edition arriving in Oxford next month at 95 Gloucester Green and the #WindowGalleries. The exhibition explores ideas of the feminine, form and function in Black women’s creative expression and includes conceptual art, sculpture and printmaking, painting, ceramics and glass.
