Write On! Creative Writing Programme Receives Important Funding

25/08/2021

We are thrilled to be able to announce some important new funding for Write On!, our community creative writing programme. The programme offers a friendly and supportive environment where children and young people can explore and develop their creative voices and build confidence. An important output of the project is that participants are given the opportunity to have their own work included in a published booklet, which highlights the value of each young person's writing. The project has been actively collaborating with a range of organisations and schools across Oxfordshire to reach, in particular, vulnerable young people aged 11-20 who experience barriers in life, including young carers and teenagers in foster care.

The funding, which is from The Oxfordshire Community Foundation, will allow us to work with more young people and help develop their skills, confidence, wellbeing and creativity. ⠀

We would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to the Foundation for their amazing support.
